What we collect
When you subscribe, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, and — only if you choose — your mobile number, along with which updates you asked for and the page you signed up on.
How we use it
We use it to send what you signed up for: letters about leadership and faith, Book Club picks and reviews, speaking and media updates, and news about the book. We use a customer-relationship platform to store your details and send messages.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
Text messages
Full program terms are in our Terms of Service.
If you provide your mobile number and check the consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Dustin Markowski about the Book Club, new writing, events, and the book. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies, typically a few messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to cancel. Reply HELP for help.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we protect your information
Your information is stored with reputable service providers that use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, and access is limited to the people who need it to send the messages you requested. This site is served only over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data, and we keep it only as long as you remain subscribed or as required by law.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect promptly.
